Garage Sale Details & Registration
We are happy to say that over the past few years we have had an increasing number of homes join us for this neighborhood event. We typically have a few dozen homes participating and hope to have just as many this year if not more. The subdivision welcomed over 250 visitors our neighborhood coming from near and far. We hope to continue this annual event every summer. Check back the week prior to the sale to find out how many homes are participating and what types of things will be for sale. Don’t forget, to get your ‘treasure map’ at home base: 1480 Highland Blvd. ~ Hoffman Estates.

The Highlands: North of Golf Road ~ South of 90 ~ West of Roselle Road ~ East of Sale Jones Please note there will some garage sales also in High Point to the west of us off Hassell Road.

Residents • We do the advertising & offer suggestions for organization & limited supplies! • There is still time to be put on the map if you would like to participate! To Register or for information, please use online registration form at the bottom of this page or call our assistant Amy: 331-684-7419
Map Ads: As one of our Highlands Homes on the map, participation is not required all days. We do ask that you tell us which days/times your sale will be open as a courtesy to those shopping to put that information on our Treasure map. We also allow a short description of your unique items for sale. Please supply us list of items of interest on your registration form or contact our assistant Amy: 331-684-7419 by August 4th, 2023.
Advertise Your Garage Sale: While we will be placing an ad in the Daily Herald for the entire neighborhood garage sale, you may feel free to also advertise your sale individually if you wish. Also, we will have signs directing traffic into the neighborhood, but you might wish to have a few signs as allowed by the village rules to direct people to your individual sale.
How to Have a Successful Garage Sale: There is a lot of information on the internet about hosting a successful garage sale. Remember, that while items you sell are things that you no longer want to keep, others will expect them to be clean, usable and well priced. Feel free to ask me for a .pdf file that I can email to you for a wonderful compilation of information that contains checklists, price tags and signs.
Charities & Donations: We encourage all participants to consider donating the items that aren't sold at their sale. We will try to organize a truck to come pick up your clothing and small household items (anything that one person can carry) so that you don't have to bring them back into your homes when your sale is over. Please let us know via your registration if you are interested in that option so that we can arrange the pick up. If you can not decide now, please call our assistant Amy: 331-684-7419.
